AROUND THE ALPS OF BIELLA
The area around Biella is not yet well known however there are plenty of possibilities for outdoor activities, there a lot of trekking possibilities for one or more days, climbing on beautiful rock or to do a via ferrata. We offer you two initiatives, one of 6 days and the other one of 2 days, to discover the Alps of Biella. |

Programme
|
Day 1 – Arrival in Biella in the evening, briefing with the mountain guides, diner and lodging in Oropa.
Day 2 – From Oropa to M. Mucrone following the ferrata ‘Limbo’ until the hut Rif. Coda at 2280 m. Diner and lodging in this hut.
Day 3 – From Rif. Coda to M. Mars 2600 m. following a track, Colle Chardon, M. Rosso, M. Camino until the hut Rif. Cappanna Renata 2391 m. Diner and lodging over here.
Day 4 – Cappanna Renata, Punta Barma, Lei Long, Punta Gragliasca, M. Cresto, Colle della Vecchia, Lago della Vecchia to Rif. Della Vecchia. Diner and lodging over here.
Day 5 – From Rif. Della Vecchia to Colle Gruvera, Passo Ambruse, Lago Riazzale, traverse of Gemelli, and Rif. Rivetti. Diner and sleeping in this hut.
Day 6 – Rif. Rivetti, M. Rosso del Croso, Montesinaro and back in minibus to Oropa.

Cost
|
| The costs are 390 Euro and includes: lodging, breakfast and diner during the trek, lunch bag, mountain guide and minibus. This program can be done from June until September with a reservation made of at least 15 days before the starting date of the trek. |

WEEKEND AT OROPA
|

Period
|
Friday arrival in the evening, diner and lodging in Oropa.
Saturday with the lift to Lago del Mucrone, from here walking until the foot of M. Mucrone and starts the via ferrata ‘Limbo’ until Rif. Coda 2280 m. Diner and lodging in this hut.
Sunday after breakfast in the direction of M. Mars following a track, long descent towards Lago del Mucrone and back to Oropa. |
Gear

| The equipment: normal for trekking and the specific material for the via ferrata can be organised by the climbing school. |
| Note |
| Pay attention: the two proposals made are available for all kind of mountaineers and is absolutely not danger at all, it is enough to have normal walking experiences. |
Cost
|
| The costs are 150 Euro per person for groups of 4/5 persons and is inclusive lodging (breakfast and diner), the assistance of a mountain guide and transport by lift. |

BETWEEN CATINACCIO AND SASSO LUNGO
A chain of via ferratas between the Catinaccio mountains (Central Italy), Scilliar, Sasso Piatto and Sasso Lungo, alpine pasturs and verticale rocks. Lodging in friendly huts.
